Hello Rachel,
Nice Blog. I used to live in Doha, Qatar, 2002-2004. I am now USN Retired as of 15 months ago. I know what it is like to be a middle east expat. I do miss the shwarma, falafal, and the"'road chicken" stands.
Cheers,
Scott

PS,
I do have a question that I hope you can help me with...What is the meaning of the term Memlika Al ansaneea.

I know Memlika means Kingdom, and insania (pronounced "eensaneea") can mean humanity...can you check with your Arabic teacher to find out if there is a difference between the pronunciation "eensaneea" and" aansaneea?"
thanks in advance for your help.
Allah ye barik feeki.
